To all municipalities, parishes and fire protection districts of the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service System which were severely affected by the impact of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita:

The Office of State Examiner offers its assistance with the recovery of records which may have been lost or destroyed by the recent storm. Upon request, and to the extent of their availability on file in our office, we will provide copies of completed personnel action forms, competitive and promotional eligibility lists, civil service board minutes, classification plans and board rules, civil service statutes, oaths of office for civil service board members, as well as correspondence.
